Lillian Glaser Hopper was born Lillian Faulkes in Oakland, Caifornia. Her first husband, Emil Glaser, died during the 1918 influenza epidemic. She was later married to actor and singer DeWolf Hopper. She performed light opera and other musical theater in San Francisco, Chicago, and elsewhere. After DeWolf's death in 1935 Lillian returned to Oakland. She became an ordained minister in 1954 and served at the First Church of Religious Science until her death in 1969. William DeWolf Hopper (1858-1935) was a comedian and light opera star.
